The Soundtrack of Life
admin | January 26, 2010Music is such an incredibly powerful source and I find myself craving it daily. My most productive and creative work is inspired by music. There are those occasional mornings when I get so caught up in my busy “to do” list that I forget to listen to music. At the end of those days, I feel so unproductive and unsatisfied. When I find the perfect music for the day, it is amazing how much I can accomplish. I often wonder if I am extremely odd or are their others like me? I am so thankful that God gave us the gift of music! What is your soundtrack today?
Hello Music Gardener! I agree, music is truly a gift! My soundtrack today is from Adam Nitti’s latest cd “Liminal,” more specifically the track entitled “Not Forsaken.” Really smooth. He lives in Nashville too! Take care Gardener!
I awake every morning to music from a band that no longer exists. It was made of friends of mine. To me their songs were powerful. This morning I listened to one that says, “it’s all for you”. The song is about how our worship and life is all for Him. I miss listening to music at work. In my present job and location I really can’t. I find I am more drained at the end of the day.
As for a soundtrack I had once dreamed of making films. I could be driving a long the road with a great song playing and in my minds eye can see how that moment in time would look great on the screen. I am always thinking like that.
