The buzz and media coverage for Google+ and Spotify over the last few weeks has overshadowed one of the coolest music experiences ever. Proving they still provide one of the greatest vehicles for music, iTunes is presenting the iTunes Festival London 2011. The iTunes Festival streams free daily concerts from the Roundhouse, one of London’s best live venues, through the month of July. The festival includes 62 artists in 31 nights with a line-up that includes Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Jimmy Eat World, Adele, James Morrison, Paul Simon and Bruno Mars. Most of the concerts can be streamed later at your leisure, if you can’t make one of the shows. As expected with iTunes music marketing savvy, they are offering a free app that enables you to watch the concerts from your iPhone & iPad. Many of the concerts are recorded and then offered as a “for sale” ep. Visit the iTunes store for more details. You definitely don’t want to miss this one!
